By downloading, accessing, or using our app, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). Please read them carefully before using the app. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the app.⸻1. OverviewHomebrew Soccer Club (“Homebrew”) is a platform that allows users to create, join, and manage pickup soccer games. The app does not organize games, own or rent fields, or provide referees, equipment, or facilities. All games and events are organized by users at their own discretion and risk.⸻2. EligibilityYou must be at least 18 years old to use this app. By creating an account or using the app, you represent and warrant that you meet this age requirement and have the legal capacity to agree to these Terms.⸻3. Account Security and Responsibility
• You are responsible for keeping your account secure, including your login credentials.
• You agree that you are the only person authorized to access your account.
• You are fully responsible for any activity that occurs under your account, including actions taken by others who gain access to it, whether or not you authorized their use.
• If you believe your account has been compromised, you must immediately notify Homebrew at [email protected].
• Homebrew is not liable for losses or damages resulting from unauthorized access to your account.⸻4. Biological Sex Requirement
• You must use your biological sex when creating and maintaining your profile.
• Impersonating the opposite sex or providing false information about your sex or identity is strictly prohibited.
• Violation of this policy may result in immediate suspension or permanent termination of your account at Homebrew’s discretion.⸻5. Compliance with Apple’s Objectionable Content GuidelinesBy agreeing to these Terms, you also agree to comply with Apple’s App Store Review Guideline 1.1: Objectionable Content, which prohibits certain types of behavior and content.
This includes, but is not limited to, the following rules:
• 1.1.1 Defamatory or Discriminatory Content:
No content that is defamatory, discriminatory, or mean-spirited, including references or commentary about religion, race, sexual orientation, gender, national/ethnic origin, or other targeted groups — especially if the content is likely to humiliate, intimidate, or harm a targeted individual or group.
• 1.1.2 Violence and Abuse:
No realistic portrayals of people or animals being killed, maimed, tortured, or abused, or any content that encourages violence.
Game-related “enemies” must not target a specific real-world group, such as a race, culture, government, or corporation.
• 1.1.3 Weapons and Dangerous Activities:
No content that encourages illegal or reckless use of weapons or dangerous objects, or facilitates the purchase of firearms or ammunition.
• 1.1.4 Overtly Sexual Content:
No explicit depictions or descriptions of sexual organs or activities intended to stimulate erotic rather than aesthetic or emotional feelings.
This includes “hookup” content or any content that facilitates pornography or prostitution.
• 1.1.5 Inflammatory Religious Commentary:
No inflammatory religious commentary or inaccurate/misleading quotations of religious texts.Violation of these rules may result in immediate account suspension or permanent termination, and any illegal activity may be reported to the appropriate authorities.⸻6. Assumption of Risk and Liability WaiverSoccer is a physical activity that involves inherent risks, including but not limited to sprains, fractures, concussions, and other serious injuries.By using this app and participating in any game organized through it, you acknowledge and agree that:
• You participate voluntarily and at your own risk.
• Homebrew Soccer Club, its owners, developers, and affiliates are not responsible for any injuries, damages, or losses you may sustain.
• You are responsible for assessing your own fitness and skill level before participating.
• You are encouraged to carry your own insurance coverage if desired.To the fullest extent permitted by law, you waive and release Homebrew Soccer Club from any claims or liability related to your participation in games organized through the app.⸻7. No Field Ownership or RentalHomebrew does not own, lease, rent, or manage any sports fields or facilities.
All games and events listed in the app are organized by individual users, who are solely responsible for obtaining permission to use any field or location.⸻8. User ResponsibilitiesWhen using the app, you agree to:
• Follow local laws, park rules, and regulations when using any field or location.
• Behave in a respectful, sportsmanlike, and safe manner toward others.
• Obtain any required permissions or permits for the locations where you organize games.
• Not use the app for any illegal, harmful, or abusive purposes.Failure to follow these rules may result in suspension or termination of your account.⸻9. Content and LocationsUsers may post field locations and game details.
By doing so, you agree that:
• You have the right to share the information you post.
• The content will not violate privacy rights, intellectual property rights, or laws.

• Injuries, damages, or losses resulting from games organized through the app.
• Actions or behavior of other users.
• Unauthorized access to your account.
